It is best if you read your paper out loud to yourself so will know of any structural inadequacies. If possible, ask someone else to proofread your paper for you because they will point out those mistakes which you might have overlooked.

What you shouldn’t do in the process of writing a research article is take a day off of writing. If you don’t write every day, then you will fall short of time and the quality of your paper will suffer.
